The Drinks

A drink or beverage is a liquid intended for human consumption. In addition to their basic function of satisfying thirst, drinks play important roles in human culture. Common types of drinks include plain drinking water, milk, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, juice, and soft drinks. In addition, alcoholic drinks such as wine, beer, and liquor, which contain the drug ethanol, have been part of human culture for more than 8,000 years.


At first, people chose Fermented grain, fruit juice, and honey have been used to make alcohol for thousands of years. 
In India, an alcoholic beverage called sura, distilled from rice, was in use between 3000 and 2000 B.C. The Babylonians worshiped a wine goddess as early as 2700 B.C. In Greece, one of the first alcoholic beverages to gain popularity was mead, a fermented drink made from honey and water.


Now we have alcohol and beverage. so, Non-alcoholic drinks often signify drinks that would normally contain alcohol, such as beer and wine, but are made with less than .5 percent alcohol by volume. The category includes drinks that have undergone an alcohol removal process such as non-alcoholic beers and de-alcoholized wines. 

Today, an estimated 15 million Americans suffer from alcoholism and 40% of all car accident deaths in the US involve alcohol. Not just in the U.S, in many countries like South Africa, Canada, Australia, Italy, France, South Africa...​​​ . 

A total of 3 million people die as a result of “harmful use of alcohol” every year, the organization said, representing 5.3 percent of all deaths. In 2016, about 2.3 million were among men.
